LOOKFILM and the online cinema KION have started filming the paranormal comedy "Call Vitya!" — a series about a psychic charlatan who suddenly gets the real gift of seeing ghosts. The main roles in the series will be played by popular comedian and actor Ilya Sobolev and actress Alexandra Bortich. The series also stars Maria Smolnikova, Sergey Rost, Vasily Mikhailov, Rinal Mukhametov and others.

Alexander Plotnikov, producer: ""Call Vitya!” — a witty comedy, the main character of which begins to see ghosts. This gift was given to him as a curse by his grandmother, and the ghosts will pester him all season until Vitya helps them complete their earthly affairs. Of course, Vitya, who is used to hanging noodles on everyone's ears, assuring that he is a great psychic and magical guru, turns out to be as unprepared as possible for such a turn of events. Moreover, he will have to come face to face with those whose lives he ruined in pursuit of money.

In a light, unobtrusive form, this comedy series talks about important issues - first of all, about the role of the family in the life of a modern person. Vita will have to make peace with her father, a conman like himself, and not only find out what happened to his late mother, but also make her happy. Thanks to her curse gift, Vita will have to deal with the invisible historical contradictions that permeate the fabric of modern life. Every ghost that Vitya encounters, in his little private story, life and death, carries a piece of that big time in which something went wrong. But the main thing is that our hero breaks up with this alien past laughing, infecting the viewers of the series with this laughter."
