On January 27, the winners of the White Elephant Independent Award for film critics and film journalists became known.

Bakur Bakuradze's "Snow in My Yard", which returned to directing after nine years of silence, won several awards at once. The film has three "White Elephants" - Bakur Bakuradze for best director, Alisher Khamidkhodjaev for best cinematography (this is his fifth "White Elephant") and Igor Gotsmanov for best sound. The expert council of the award includes 76 critics, and 54 domestic films were initially considered. The film will be released on January 30.
