A young woman wakes up in a roadside motel. She has a head injury and has absolutely no memory of who she is or what happened to her. Soon she manages to find out that her name is Anna and she has long been considered dead in a terrible accident.
Anna's husband, the successful politician Mikhail Razumovsky, is already engaged to another.
